A330

Hi everyone!
Sony Alpha A330 has just arrive in Penang last Friday!
I had a chance to test it out and going to share some review with you all.

The newly overhaul exterior of A330

1st let's start with the shutter button
It's have been change to the top of the camera body.
The shutter dial also has been change.
The grip is also much more smaller compare with the previous model A300.

The look from behind. . .
The shape of the viewfinder also has been change. . A few button is combine into a small area which easy for user which change from compact camera to DSLR.

The LCD screen mechanism also has been change.

As I said earlier, a few function button has been change to be compact camera user friendly.
As you can see, the flash control, ISO and almost all the function button has been move together and feels like a compact camera.

A view from the left. . . The lens has been been modify and much lighter, quite and faster compare to the previous model. It also have the AF and MF override on the lens to allow manual override of the lens.

The storage compartment also has been change. There is not more rubber cap closing the storage compartment but replace by a sliding mechanism! Damn fancy! It also feature SD Card and Sony Memory Sick Capability! And also a HDMI output!

The new SAM Lens. Smooth Auto focus Motor Lens f/3.5-5.6 18-55mm

The finishing damn nice slick! Feels solid although looks small in size.

The pop up flash also has been change to shoot at even higher than the previous model.

The use interface also has been change to be very very user friendly or also very very compact camera friendly!

Currently, the new 50mm f/1.8 also is in sales now!
It also use the same SAM motor like the standard kit lens. Damn fast and quite!

the diameter of filter is 49mm which kinda small
The build quality feels very solid.
The front element also does not move when focusing

It feature 7 aperture blade which kinda okay for bokeh. But if you want a perfect circle bokeh u should try out the 50mm f/1.4.

I think that should be it!
Happy shooting everyone!

Tomorrow is prize giving day!
Stay tune for more!
