Personal Portrait Session

Last week had a personal portrait session with Sam at Peranakan Mansion and place nearby PISA (Penang International Stadium)

Its going to be a busy week! Since my parents went to China to International Expo at GuangZhou.

20th Birthday!

Last Wednesday, after finish class at 1pm, helped INTI to cover the SPM souvenir giving ceremony. Not going to post anything about it as that is school affair... By the way they got RM100 as a souvenir! Nice money! Don't know how much allowance will I get from them? Haha! Higher or lower?

Anyway Wednesday is the day where my classmate celebrate my birthday with me as most of them will be back to their hometown and some do not have class on Friday. My birthday on Saturday!

We have 8 course meal but we left out the shrk fin soup photo! I guess all were too hungry d.

On Saturday, after have movie with Miko at Gurney, we went to Hard Rock Hotel Beach Party organize by Danzity. Will update the photo later.

After that, we went to Kijade house! Sorry that I came late!

Yung Ping @ Chew Jetty

Finally came back from rusting! Last Saturday had a great blast shooting with Yung Ping one of my course mate which just recently turn 20!

We arrived at Chew Jetty around 8 and started shoot till 10 something! Hope you all enjoy the picture which I have taken!

The environment there was very peaceful and full with different type of home structure and personality! which makes this place a very popular shooting ground for many photographer! This was the first time I went there.

Learned some photoshop technique and all this photo was processed in 3 hours after pain staking choosing the best picture.

Shoot with available light using Nikon 70-200 f/2.8 VR + ISO 400 + 1/320

After the sun was fully up. It was a harsh light to play with as I have no one holding the diffuser for me!! Next time should call for more backup! Went to shoot in the shade. Achieve a very smooth & soft light to shoot with!

After finish our location at Chew Jetty, we went to nearby road which located around Penang Kastam office to have more shoot before I went to fetch my brother back from school.

A few days ago wen to QB again and followed the group to a newly open restaurant, Taiwan Tea Room.

CNY Special reunion

On the 14th day of Chinese New Year, my grandpa held a buffet dinner and all family gather for this special occasion because during Chinese New Year not every relatives gather on the same time. It is a good time gathering family member compare to first few days of Chinese New Year as all are busy with their own family visiting.

Buffet line may seems normal but there are alots of scallop! and tons of stuff!

At the end of the event, we had a group shot which still got a few people Missing In Action as they are unable to return home from overseas.

I set the power a little too much and end up the most top line people were abit over expose... I guess I need more speedlight or props to get group shot as this perfect! One speedlight is just not enough.
